Roudshour Power Plant

The Rudshur Power Plant is Iran’s first private power plant, established in line with the realization of Article 44 of the Constitution and government development plans, with the support of the Ministry of Energy and relying on the capabilities and expertise of Iranian specialists. The first phase of the power plant, with a nominal capacity of 792 megawatts, commenced commercial operation in 1386 (2007). The primary fuel of the power plant is natural gas, with diesel fuel as backup.
